Walking through part of Harkstede and around the Borg Lake.
This beautiful varied walking route starts in Harkstede. A village in the municipality of Central Groningen. On the Hoofdweg stands the Church of Harkstede. This was built at the end of the 17th century. Through a residential area in Harkstede you walk around the Borgmeren. At several places there are small beaches to enter the water. So when the weather is nice, swimming is definitely possible! Next to the Borgmeren is also the Scharmerplas.
