Walking route starting in the Frisian village of Minnertsga.
From Minnertsga, where you can see the Old Church, the walk goes through the clay landscape the Grote Noorderpolder. You will walk to the Dijkshoek, which silted up the Middelzee in the year 1550. From then on the Armendijk was the boundary between the Middelzee and the Waddenzee. You walk past the herring fisherman monument with the name: The Waadfisker.
